April Fishing Results
This month, fishing here has been very
good, with some of the larger residents of the lake putting in a appearance,
despite the inconsistent weather we have had recently. Also a few anglers having
had numerous fish during a session. 2 Fish to over 30lbs have been caught.
REMINDER
Please can I remind everyone to fill out
the catch report board outside the fishery hut at the end of their session, as I
use the information for the website. Also if you have any pictures of your stay
here at wyreside then please forward them to us by email and we will do our best
to use them on our website.
Catch Reports: April
James Calderbank had commons of 10lb, 13lb,
7lb and 11lb, Mirrors of 13lb, 9lb, 9lb,10lb, 9lb, 17lb, 9lb using plastic corn
and solar club mix 10mm pop ups. Well done Top Carping!!!!!
James Gardener on peg 11 had a 5 fish haul
over 48 hours including mirrors of 16,17,18 and 28lb all caught on dynamite
baits spicy shellfish boilies. Well done to him!!!!
Mr Eccles on peg 5 had mirrors of 20lb and
18lb on Nutrabaits Trigga boilies.
Mr Taylor caught a 19lb 12 oz mirror.
Unknown angler had 4 fish and broke his PB
3 times with a ghostie of 8lbs, commons of 18.1 and 24.1 and a 18.10 leather
carp. Well done!!!
Graham Cuerden had mirrors of 33lb 8oz and
21lb on peg 7.
Mark smashed his PB with a 30lb 8oz mirror
on peg 11 using Heathrow baits Indian spice boilies.
Sam Hellowell on peg 10 had 3 mirrors of
13lb, 12lb and 15lb on Nutrabaits 3D Boilies.
Simon Durrel had a PB of 20lb 1oz using
nutrabaits Trigga boiles on peg 4.
Catch of the month!
Dan Hulme From Myerscough Angling Team
spent 48 hrs on the 29/02/08 and caught 8 fish 3x13lb, 2x18lb,1x17lb 1x8lb, 1x
22lb. Dan caught these fish using Vision Baits boilies supplied by our Angling
Centre and plastic sweet corn. Top Class Angling Dan well done!!!
